Used Car Guys is a family-founded used car dealership serving the U.S. military and NATO community across Germany and Italy since 2012. Founded by brothers David and James Sweeney, who bring 26 years of hands-on experience in the military car sales market, Used Car Guys has grown into a team of over 40 across nine locations: Ramstein, Kaiserslautern (x2), Spangdahlem, Stuttgart, Grafenwöhr, Wiesbaden, Aviano, and Vicenza.

Around 300 vehicles are in stock across all locations at any one time, with 200 on-site at the Ramstein Superstore; a 75,000 sq ft site just minutes from Ramstein West Gate, with its own showroom and 7-bay workshop. Every vehicle comes with a minimum one-year warranty, passes a Multi-Point Inspection, and is guaranteed to pass the US military inspection required for registration. Every vehicle also comes with a guaranteed buy-back offer at fair market price, so there’s always a clear way to sell before you PCS out; whether your car is US-spec (shippable back to the States) or EU-spec.

Used Car Guys guides customers through the full process: purchase, financing (via a network of independent lenders specializing in overseas military financing), auto insurance, customs clearance, and vehicle registration. Customers with SOFA status can purchase tax-free.
