Episode eight of UCG’s Explore Europe mini tours and we visit arguably the most beautiful country in Europe, Croatia! Home to the Unesco Heritage Site of Trogir near Split, over 1300 islands including Ciovo, and of course… Dubrovnik the site of King’s Landing from Game of Thrones.
Croatia is just a 12 hour drive from Kaiserslautern/Ramstein but there are plenty of stops you can make along the way, including the beautiful and very underrated Slovenia.
Croatia can be enjoyed all year round, but it’s the beautiful coastline and stunning blue waters in the summer that really appeal to us. Tasting delicious locally caught seafood at some of the country’s gorgeous restaurants whilst watching people swimming, sailing or snorkelling is perhaps one of the highlights. It’s no wonder it’s referred to as the Pearl of the Adriatic.
